Suzanne Roxanne Fortner
Associate
Suzanne Roxanne Fortner was sworn into the New Mexico Bar in April 2016. She is passionate about entertainment law and in addition to her law career, Suzanne is a working actress. Suzanne graduated in the top ten of her class at UNM Law School and she is in the process of becoming licensed in Colorado in addition to New Mexico. When Suzanne is not taking care of clients needs such as Trademark, Copyright, and Contracts, she can be found on a television or movie set.
Jack L. Fortner
Founding Partner
One of our most respected team members, Jack Fortner, is ready to take your case. As a graduate of Michigan Law School he took his first job at Sutin Law Firm. Jack has been an attorney for over 30 years now and has been involved in the greater New Mexico community. Jack has been involved in the community in numerous ways including, but not limited to, The University of New Mexico Board of Regents and the San Juan County Commission. When Jack is not hard at work for his clients he can be found at Lobo sporting events or traveling the world with his family.
Tyson Quail
Partner
Tyson Quail joined Fortner, Quail, & Fortner about three years ago. Tyson was the former city manager in Ohio and former District Attorney here in San Juan County. He was also a former DWI prosecutor for both the City and the State. When Tyson isn't hard at work he is enjoying life with his wife and two sons. His wife Mandy works at San Juan Regional Hospital.
John Beckstead
Attorney
John was born and raised here in San Juan County calling Kirtland home. After high school John served in the United States Air Force before coming back to attend San Juan College. He finished his undergraduate degree at Fort Lewis College and then went on to the University of North Dakota for his law degree. John has been an Assistant District Attorney for more than 5 years and has been licensed to practice law since 2010. He is married to Melissa and they have 3 wonderful sons and 1 beautiful daughter. He enjoys attending his children’s sporting events as well as teaching them outdoor skills such as hunting and fishing. Most recently, John was elected as the County Commissioner for District 5 and he looks forward to serving all the residents of San Juan County.
